Job purpose:

This position will be responsible for executing the ETP licensing strategy for FTSE Russell Indexes in the Americas.  Specifically, this includes working with the Senior Director of ETP Strategy and Business Development, other members of the ETP and Sales Teams to license FTSE Russell indexes as the basis of ETPs.  The individual will also focus on helping clients drive AUM into existing ETPs.  This role also includes coordinating with Research and Product to develop new innovative indexes and working with Marketing and PR to build our brand in the ETP space as well as with sponsors and end users of our ETPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand and refine the ETP licensing and support strategy
  • Comfortable with licensing contracts and working with legal on deal structures
  • Design and implement a client segment strategy
  • Design and implement a product strategy and prioritization
  • Identify large revenue opportunities and negotiate contracts
  • Work with Sales to support client’s ETP business and our ETP initiatives with those clients

  • Work with Product and Research to facilitate any ETP opportunities and ensure proper prioritization is communicated clearly across teams
  • Work with Research and Product to articulate the needs and issues ETP clients face and design new indexes for ETP issuers
  • Work with PR and Marketing to build the FTSE Russell brand and help clients to drive AUM
  • Mentor ETP Team Members and colleagues across the organization
  • Propose solutions and strategies for leveraging the various LSEG verticals to create new solutions for ETP clients

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

  • Be recognized as having ETP expertise
  • Bachelor’s in finance, MBA, CFA or CAIA a plus
  • 15+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Diplomacy and professionalism in stressful & confrontational situations
  • Ability to use analytics systems is a plus
  • Capable leader and self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Experienced business developer with proven track record of achieving sales goals
