Job Purpose:

  • The Digital Sales Associate will be an important member of the Lead- Generation team, your task is to: prospect, qualify and generate new leads to support regional coverage members and help growing the opportunity pipeline
  • Engage with clients in both digital and direct manners, assist in analysing new leads by tracking the digital behaviour of high potential investors, nurture leads and help clients along customer journey
  • With this position it is critical that the individual has fluent business level spoken German language skills
  • This role can be based at our offices in London, UK or Munich, Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business through mass-emails, telephone and social media to promote Powershares and its product offering
  • Follow up on leads, conduct research and further qualification in order to identify potential prospects
  • Build and cultivate relationships with prospects by offering first-class service and addressing their needs; and ultimately move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Work closely with Regional Coverage teams to help grow their client base, opportunity pipeline and meet revenue targets
  • Assist with incoming investment queries liaising with internal departments to help investors trade Powershares products
  • Assume ownership of the clients’ digital journey from the website through to conversion
  • Present analysis of digital engagement and sales pipeline.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous demonstrable financial services knowledge / experience
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM Software is preferred
  • Fluency in another European language particularly French / Italian is desirable
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; keen attention to detail
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work well in a dynamic team environment with peers, managers, and cross functional groups
  • Team player with the ability to coordinate initiatives across different geographic locations and functions
  • Technically savvy and ability to learn new tools and technology
  • Broad understanding of the global financial services industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with effective listening and good interpersonal skills
  • A Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent work experience is required.
