The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess, and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure, as well as execute, innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.

The Corporate Credit Automated Trading group is seeking a highly talented and motivated desk strategist to join our state-of-the-art algorithmic, ETF and portfolio trading business at the senior Associate or VP level. The role will involve working alongside colleagues to build tooling to analyze and identify various ETF and portfolio trading opportunities for the business.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with impressive technical and analytical skills. Good knowledge of fixed income trading and products is strongly desired, ideally with practical experience in corporate credit. The candidate will also be an excellent programmer, particularly in Python and Q/Kdb, but also a fast learner, able to adapt to our diverse technology stack as well as the fast changing market in which we operate. Operating knowledge of Javascript is preferable, but not required.
Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, IEOR, Statistics, or related discipline
• Recent experience as a developer, desk strategist or quant
• Experienced idea generator, able to pitch ideas internally and externally
• Excellent programming skills in Python and Q/Kdb
• Excellent quantitative skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong self-motivation
• Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail

Skills Desired:

• MFE or master’s degree in Computer Science or other related discipline
• Working knowledge of Javascript
• Demonstrated experience with corporate credit trading
• Demonstrated experience with ETF trading, creates and redeems and arbitrage strategies
• Demonstrated experience coding and modelling algorithmic trading strategies
