Job Purpose:

  • The Sales Content Specialist will sit in the Content Marketing team
  • As a ppt expert, their role will be to help sales have better conversations with their clients by arming them with better presentation materials than any other provider
  • As someone with market knowledge, they’ll be able to work with our experts to bring their key ideas to life too
  • They’ll be advocates of new presentation tools and techniques, ready to explore new formats and tools to create a more engaging and memorable sales experience
  • They will love the challenge of data visualisation
  • They will also be keen to build a new “smart” slide library to house these materials & encourage feedback
  • He/she will work with content team colleagues, Lyxor product experts and the sales team to tell compelling product stories and create teach-in materials to help the sales teams convert meetings into sales

Your Responsibilities:

  • Be the ppt/data visualisation lead for Lyxor’s content team
  • Help sales have better conversations with their clients
  • Work with experts to understand product messaging & come up with the best ways to present it
  • Answer Lyxor’s existing ppt requirements – refresh current decks, create new ones where requested
  • Work with digital/data teams to automate production wherever possible
  • Upgrade Lyxor’s presentation styles & capabilities going forward
  • Add teach-in materials like speaker notes to help the sales team use presentations effectively
  • Create a platform or “library” to house, communicate and feedback on sales presentations
  • Support new product launches with key sales aids
  • The role will be based in London and will be part of the ETF Marketing Team
  • Materials to be created in English language to be used across Europe
  • Produce a full suite of Lyxor product, brand & educational presentations
  • Support the launch of new products with key sales material
  • Develop teach in materials / videos and best practice guides for use of materials
  • Develop speaker notes for each presentation
  • Develop an online library to store all sales materials – with an in-built communication system for informing sales of new materials, campaigns and leads
  • Create an automated system to keep PPTs & their notes up to date
  • Work with product experts to refine and promote product stories and promote timely product ideas
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across channels
  • Gather, analyse, share and act on sales feedback – add a feedback function to the “library”
  • Continually refine all elements relating to the production and communication of sales materials
  • Manage compliance and legal signoffs where required
  • Develop a system of KPIs that enable us to analyse effectiveness of sales materials – conversion rates etc
  • Assess new presentations and techniques to move Lyxor to a more efficient system

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven technical story-telling ability – including data visualisation
  • Experience of producing sales presentations – in ppt, Keynote & others – & of building slide libraries
  • Technical understanding of ETFs or Asset Management industry
  • Understanding of the mechanics of Financial Markets
  • Strong communication skills and relationship management
  • Confidence of working in a sales environment
  • Dependable project management skills
  • Experience in product marketing or sales materials role
  • VP level
  • Ideally able to demonstrate a blend of financial & non-financial experience – our successful candidate must be capable of thinking outside of the financial norm but must understand markets.
  • Asset management or finance experience
  • ETF experience not essential, but beneficial
  • Up to degree level, preferably in something financial or marketing
  • If the degree was not financial, Financial experience gained on the job instead
  • Likewise, if marketing educated, there must be on the job finance experience
  • Written & spoken English needs to be of the highest class
  • Other languages are useful, but not essential.
