Job Purpose:
- The position described below is part of the Private Bank/Wirehouse team within SIDM, which is responsible for client coverage, product innovation, pricing and execution for cross asset structured Notes and Certificates
- This team specially works with our largest Private Banking (PB) and Wirehouse clients, for both on and offshore clients
- The PB/Wirehouse team has a high touch and sophisticated client set and often required to do technical analysis along with product pitches.
Your Responsibilities:
- New and existing client coverage for Swiss Retail Structured Products
- Effectively understand/manage the various sales partnerships across distribution channels to maximize product breadth/platform efficiency
- Learn and fully understand the various product platforms and their requirements (e.g. Notes, Certificates, Private Placements, Insurance, ETFs, etc.)
- Represent JPMorgan at client conferences/events which can include speaking engagements
- Support senior salespeople with presentations, marketing collateral, meeting preparations, strategy guides, etc.
- Price and structure transactions (primarily equity) to meet investor requirements
- Manage the deal origination process working together with Trading, Legal and Operations
- Partner with Cross Asset Structuring teams to enhance product offerings
- Learn and fully understand the various internal models and derivatives pricers used to price structured investments
- Define and drive overall team’s systems and technology agenda.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A fundamental understanding of equity market & derivatives including their pricing components
- Strong communication skills, work ethic, attention to detail and team-oriented mentality
- Initiative to question what they do and why they do it in order to seek enhancements to existing processes
- Language skills in German, French or Italian and be fluent in English.
