Your Role: 

Working closely with all members of the team and business partners to:

  • participate in developing and executing on strategy, key projects and initiatives
  • create critical documents and plans related to strategy, internal communications, etc.

You will be responsible for: 

  • Participates in developing business strategy plans and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set by group heads; follows through to ensure that objectives are met
  • Understands business strategy in order to direct project outcomes towards strategic goals
  • Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liasing with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
  • Continually building efficiencies into business support areas to ensure scalability for future growth
  • Project management of key ETF initiatives in alignment with the strategic plan with the ability to work closely with other Invesco offices to leverage resources
  • Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance
  • Implement initiatives amongst partner teams and align with strategy
  • Tracking assigned initiatives through the execution phase
  • Help with key communications between the functional members of the ETF&IS Senior Leadership team and MD
  • Identify issues that could impact successful execution of key team commitments
  • Leadership in communications with other investment centers along with partnering where appropriate with internal/external communications
  • Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication
  • Build on a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation, efficiency and high quality of work
  • Effectively delegate and regulate workflow and provide opportunities for team member’s personal development
  • Work with senior management and human resources on key initiatives

Experience you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in related discipline from a recognized university/college
  • inimum 3-5 years of experience in financial services, ETF knowledge would be a plus
  • Proficiency in organization and skill in project management
  • Proficient in producing and editing documents including written materials, powerpoint, and excel
  • High organization and coordination skills
  • The ability to interact with various internal and external constituencies
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with key internal and external partners
  • High degree of emotional intelligence with an ability to influence and persuade others, bridge differences and build consensus towards a common goal or objective
