Job Purpose:
- In this role, you will work closely with an established Sales Director to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”).
Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with Directors to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of Prospects via proprietary databases, mass media and referrals
- Proactively contact key individuals via phone calls and targeted emails
- Deliver value added commentary, research, data, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
- Promote sharing and exchange of industry knowledge and trends across the sales team and greater organization
- Travel within the territory quarterly and attend industry conferences when appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BS/BA required, business related degree preferred
- Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
- Current Series 7 and 63 preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience with a financial services company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts or direct relationship based selling experience
- Proven understanding of the asset management industry
- Ability to develop relationships with sophisticated Plan Sponsors, Portfolio Managers and Research Teams
- Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast paced team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with web-based CRM, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Strong character references and a clean compliance record.
