Job Purpose:
- WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Sales Associates across our sales team based in our Midtown Manhattan headquarters
- In this role, you will work closely with an established Sales Directors an Associate Directors to increase sales of our exchange traded funds (“ETFs”)
- We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a positive winning attitude.
Your Responsibilities:
- Initiate and maintain relationship with RIA & wirehouse Financial Advisors
- Prospect and profile leads leveraging proprietary databases and referrals
- Proactively engage with Financial Advisors using phone, web presentations, targeted emails, and other technologies
- Deliver value added commentary, research, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
- Promote and exchange of industry knowledge & trends across the greater sales team
- Travel within the territory <10%.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BS/BA required; business related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
- 1-3 years’ experience with an asset management company specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts
- Current Series 7 and 63 required
- Proven understanding of the asset management industry and ability to develop relationships with portfolio managers and research analysts
- Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast paced environment
- Discipline to work remote as needed
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation communication skills
- Proficient in SalesForce CRM and Excel
- Strong character references and a clean compliance record.
