Job Purpose:

  • The successful candidate will be working within the research analysis team providing dividend forecast data as well as support team answering client questions and training end users
  • This is a junior position that will be based in Hong Kong.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis on company fundamentals to provide news and commentary on Asia Pacific equities and dividend forecasts
  • Respond to client queries and provide detailed analysis and feedback to their questions
  • Understand and apply corporate action adjustments on stock and company level data
  • Troubleshoot processing and data issues
  • Find innovative ways of improving workflows and processes
  • Provide support to client services team through analysing and resolving client queries
  • Work with development teams on projects to streamline and improve business processes
  • Carry out QA checks
  • Handle ad-hoc projects on data and system improvements
  • Provide training to end users, understand their requirements and needs and identify opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a financial/ accounting/ business discipline, preferably with around 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Must have strong knowledge or past experience of financial statement analyses
  • Must be fluent in written and verbal English for business purposes
  • Must be fluent in written and verbal Korean for business purposes
  • Additional languages an advantage
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • SQL/VBA/MACRO skills an advantage
  • Knowledge of equities derivatives an advantage
  • Proven interest in financial markets
  • Good product knowledge across various financial asset classes
