Your team

You will join the ETF and Index Investment (EII) EMEA Product Engineering team which is part of the EII Global Engine. The EII Global Engine mission is to drive investment quality and scale across the index platform, lead the modernization of the indexing industry and to drive solutions and innovation for indexing clients.

The Product Engineering team consists of three groups which covers: Product Architecture, Product Integrity and Product Delivery. You will become a member of the Product Delivery team who are responsible for the launch of new products and the enhancement of existing products for both ETFs and client mandates.

Your role and impact

You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the launch of new products as well as being responsible for the implementation of enhancements for existing products across both ETF and client mandates.

Your responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate all aspects of the build for the development and launch of new ETF and client mandates, including legal documentation and operational implementation
  • Deliver the launch of ETF and new client mandates in alignment with key stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of the change process for existing ETF and client mandates
  • Develop close links with other businesses and teams which form part of the end-to-end process to ensure timely and effective delivery
  • Ensure that all build and launch documentation is fit for purpose and identify/implement changes to process and procedure as required
  • Actively seek out any operational risk within the new mandate/change process

You have…

  • Experience in similar product role
  • Proven product expertise, such as separately managed accounts, IMF, ETF or other investment products and relevant legal documentation e.g.  prospectus, IMA
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead multiple projects, driving partners towards a common goal, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy whilst monitoring and identifying any risks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability and willingness to pick up and digest new information quickly
  • Keen interest in how things work, with the ability to consider risks/omissions and then find solutions both independently and with others
  • Awareness of European regulations relating to the European financial services industry
  • Knowledge of the following an advantage
    • Broad understanding of compliance, tax, portfolio management, regulatory and operational requirements
    • Experience and understanding of multiple asset classes, including equity, fixed income, and commodities
    • back-office functions, trade operations, settlements, fund accounting, investment process, cash and synthetic instruments
    • European Language
    • VBA, Python, SQL
