Job Purpose: 

  • Co-ordinate and deliver high profile cross-jurisdictional projects which seek to enhance the client, and AP experience in their dealings with State Street across the globe.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring project scope is clearly documented and understood by all stakeholders
  • Ensuring an effective project governance framework and escalation strategy is in place
  • Coordinating, prioritising, and actively managing tasks and resources as needed to meet project timelines, ensuring each work stream is delivering on project commitments
  • Ensuring superior client and AP satisfaction by acting as an advocate for, and proactively engaging with, such entities
  • Capable of managing client and AP expectations and prioritisation requests in respect of project delivery
  • Management of Risk throughout each project lifecycle and adherence to corporate governance procedures
  • Administration of project oversight tools (action logs, stakeholder reporting, budget & milestone trackers etc.)
  • Coordinate the business acceptance testing of new EMEA functionality releases across the teams ETF Specific applications
  • Manage and develop a direct report to assist in the daily workload of the role
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously from conception through to implementation
  • Develop strong knowledge of State Street’s ETF architecture and a general ETF product knowledge from a financial markets and operational perspective
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge and awareness of enhancements in the ETF market and keep pace with regulatory changes impacting the ETF product across EMEA and globally
  • Liaise with the AMRS and APAC domiciled ETF Servicing teams to ensure a truly global operating model is maintained and enhanced to meet the demands of the global ETF market
  • Ensure risk excellence is a driving factor in the operating models operated across the business servicing the ETF product sets.

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Honours degree from a relevant Business/ Finance discipline desirable
  • Demonstrable experience managing and delivering on time, large and/or complex programmes of business (and IT) change within a financial services organisation
  • Experience in a fund accounting and client operations environment is preferred
  • Understanding of the ETF Industry in EMEA a benefit
  • Must possess strong client facing, interpersonal, leadership, management and organisational skills
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical skills
  • Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
  • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communicator capable of managing internal and external clients
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
