EMEA Fixed Income ETF Portfolio Manager

The Fixed Income ETF Portfolio Manager is a member of the broader Global ETF Portfolio Management and Platform Team responsible for the oversight, implementation, and management of over USD $30 billion of ETF assets across both equity and fixed income portfolios. The ETF Portfolio Management and Platform team partners with other ETF Group members in the planning and development of new products, enhancements to existing products, industry or competitive analysis, systems/workflow improvements, and other research and development projects.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Deep subject matter expertise across global fixed income markets.
  • Experience managing ETF or index portfolios.
  • Knowledge of ETF primary mechanics, including creation/redemption, custom baskets, and portfolio rebalancing.
  • Understanding of the ETF ecosystem and relevant players including key Market Makers, Authorized Participants, platforms, and custodians.
  • Passion for ETF structure and product innovation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage communication with asset class specific portfolio management teams.
  • Conduct daily portfolio reviews, effect required rebalancing, order generation, and trading to ensure that portfolios are positioned within investment parameters and meeting performance expectations.
  • Manage operational and logistical process related to fixed income primary activity, including basket negotiation, setting of cash rates, executing custom in-kind rebalances (CIB), and general liquidity provider engagement.
  • Monitor cash and liquidity of portfolios, take actions to ensure efficient cash equitization/management.
  • Liaise with Custodian on corporate actions, collateral management, and related portfolio activities.
  • Continually assess and enhance control framework with procedures, documentation requirements, and controls.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with Authorized Participants, Market Makers, and related Trading Platforms.
  • Understand and monitor market structure developments key to ETF ecosystem.
  • Serve as a resource to address and troubleshoot issues that may arise in the primary market processes.
  • Contribute to the architecture and implementation of new products.
