The UK Product Delivery team is responsible for the on-boarding of Institutional Clients mandates and JPMorgan Funds, primarily in EMEA but also globally. Responsibilities also include lifecycle events such as in specie asset transitions, mergers and closures. The Team consists of Product Delivery Managers, Analysts, Strategic Project Managers and the Account Information Group. The purpose of the team is to provide a dedicated and professional Operations product solution and delivery on to our operating platforms. The team interface directly with senior representatives from Product Development, Investment Desks, Client Account Managers, overseas offices, third party vendors and Risk and Control functions.

Job Purpose:

  • As a Product Delivery Associate you will be responsible for providing a dedicated and professional onboarding analysis and implementation function for the business
  • Working closely with the Product Delivery Managers and other Analysts, you will be tasked with supporting the design and implementation of operational models and solutions for new business opportunities and mandatory requirements through regulatory change
  • This is a key role with daily interaction to representatives from the Equity, Fixed Income & Currency, and Multi-Asset Solutions Investment Desks, Beta Strategies, Product Development Groups (globally), Global Trading Agreement Group, Operations Team Managers and their appointed Subject Matter Expert’s (SME)

Your Responsibilities:

  • To provide operational and transitional support/coordination services for new business initiatives as proposed by Product Developers, Client Account Managers and Investment Desks including the launch of European Exchange Traded Funds
  • Produce relevant initiative documents, including but not exclusive to: on-boarding checklists, account opening data, product specifications, project plans any other related onboarding documents as required.
  • Issue resolution – undertake effective issue management practice, look to resolve initiative delivery issues and escalate to the Product Delivery Manager as appropriate
  • Co-ordinate and deliver relevant operational tasks and functions required for successful delivery of the initiative
  • Effective communication and regular reporting to the Product Delivery Manager
  • Wish list coordination and distribution – Pre-trade compliance checks, and interaction with internal investment teams and external teams (e.g. Third party Transition Managers as appointed by Client)
  • Maintain and update functional procedures, plans and checklists
  • Coordinate and chair Front Office/transition meetings, duly minute and actions followed to completion
  • In specie activity planning preparation, coordination, ownership and distribution
  • Complete account closure processes and track status
  • Custody Account Changes
  • Weekly meetings/conference calls with all key stakeholders involved in onboarding activities
  • Work within a flexible manner, willingness to undertake additional ad hoc tasks as required for the successful delivery of an initiative
  • Liaise with external parties as appropriate for the successful delivery of the initiative, such as (list is not exclusive to) Consultants, Custodians, Transfer Agents, outsourced service providers, Incumbent/Receiving Transition Managers/Asset managers and other external parties as required
