About the role

The J.P. Morgan Asset Management Exchange Traded Fund (“ETF”) business was formed in 2015, with the first UCITS ETFs launched in 2017. The EMEA ETF Client Advisors team sits within the EMEA Funds organization. We are executing an ETF strategy that spans asset classes, including equities and fixed income. The EMEA ETF business leverages the firm’s numerous competitive advantages, including industry leading research and investment insights, in order to lead ETF sales activities to all client types in EMEA, including Funds, Global Liquidity and Institutional clients.

The EMEA ETF team seeks a driven and committed French-speaking ETF Client Advisor to join our organization. This role will be based in Paris, France, and report into the Head of ETF Distribution for France.

Some of the key responsibilities would involve but are not be limited to:

  • Client coverage and prospecting including cold calls of key contacts and potential ETF users in France, responding to client inquiries and providing ongoing communication with clients and prospects
  • Scheduling and attending meetings on a standalone basis as well as alongside local teams’ co-coverage
  • Supporting senior sales in scheduling and attending meetings as well as follow-ups
  • Close collaboration with internal teams (Client Advisors selling mutual funds) and sharing best practices and ideas across teams
  • Usage and maintenance of the CRM system
  • Drive attendance to roadshows and events
  • Supporting internal initiatives (business plan for growth, retaining assets), improve client segmentation (focused plan for ETF business for each prioritized client segment in France) and source new product ideas/feedback

Requirements

The role will ideally suit someone who has a strong understanding of Asset Management and more precisely of the UCITS  ETF landscape. This person would need to be able to establish immediate credibility with clients, investment and client advisors teams.

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration or related fields, fluent in French and English
  • Extensive experience in asset management and ideally within ETF
  • Strong analytical, communication and cross-organization collaboration skills required
  • Highly motivated, good team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, great communication skills, whilst being persuasive and resilient
  • Experience in developing relationships across multiple client types, products and asset classes
  • Client-oriented and self-organized
  • Willing to take ownership of tasks assigned
  • CFA or MBA a plus
