Job Purpose:

  • JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM) seeks an ART (Advisor Resource Team) Client Advisor to provide field sales coverage to clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • The ART Client Advisor will work with financial advisors to sell mutual funds, managed accounts, ETFs, DC solutions, and other products where JPMAM Investment capabilities are embedded
  • The ART Client Advisor will also be responsible for presenting and communicating JPMAM’s value added services such as its Market Insight Series, featuring Guide to the Markets, Guide to Retirement and the Portfolio Insights program
  • The job requires the ability to establish credibility and build rapport with a targeted group of high-potential financial advisors
  • These relationships will be built remotely and primarily over the phone and utilizing WebEx technology to leverage JPM resources, tools and investment strategies and increase AUM.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Remotely cover roughly 1,000 high-potential financial advisors through WebEx technology
  • Expected 18-20 WebEx agenda meetings per week; this role will not involve travel
  • Deliver all of J.P. Morgan’s solutions, resources & tools to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of asset management sales experience
  • This is a senior-level role in which ART CAs will be expected to give at least a 3 year commitment before interviewing for other Client Advisor roles in asset management
  • Based in Columbus or Chicago
  • Knowledge and understanding of wholesaling with FAs and proven track record of sales success
  • Capable of creating relationships & maintaining/strengthening existing relationships
  • Self-starter, self-motivated as demonstrated by level of competitiveness
  • Execute the JPM sales process, demonstrating a client-centric consultative approach
  • Present JPM products professionally and compellingly to motivate action
  • Positive attitude, demonstrated by actions and ability to persevere where needed
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and partnering with other JPM professionals (CAs, ICAs, specialists)
  • Experience selling mutual funds, ETFs and/or managed accounts
  • Demonstrated level of intelligence – analytic and business acumen with ability to grasp and articulate complex topics
  • Professionalism, presence, communication style
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to operate within JPMC values (respect, excellence, integrity)
  • Licenses: Minimum requirement Series 6, Series 7 and 63.
