Job Purpose:
- Assist the manager of the Product Marketing Services Team in the automation and ongoing maintenance of marketing materials
- Serve as the primary contact with our IT and Data partners to facilitate the receipt and use of data
- Will also work with Compliance in the approval of materials as well as Product Marketing in the updating of content as needed.
Your Responsibilities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Assist in the creation and implementation of automatable marketing materials and manage the process of updating existing materials (on a monthly, quarterly, annually, and/or as needed basis) for mutual fund, closed end fund, ETFs, CITs, UCITS, retail SMAs and institutional SMAs as needed
- Understanding of Nuveen products and data as well as the process for accessing data from the various providers throughout the firm
- Ability to liaise with Product Marketing team to obtain any product positioning or other necessary content elements
- Proofing of templated materials after data is in place
- Obtain Compliance and other internal approvals
- Work with Product Strategy Team on product changes and launches
- Work internally with Workflow | Production Manager to produce materials
- Communicate with Marketing, Sales, and Compliance as needed on the status of marketing materials and other related topics
- Work with Compliance to address FINRA comment letters
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Build and sustain relationships with multiple internal partners (IT, Data, Product Marketing, Product Strategy, Compliance and Web)
- Post internal constituents as needed regarding end-of-quarter progress and schedules
OTHER
- Ensure that all template materials adhere to established design standards and compliance requirements
- Stay current with performance reporting trends, technologies and best practices
- Execute a high level of project management
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 years previous experience within a data- and process-driven function within financial services
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or equivalent work experience
- Strong familiarity with automation systems and processes
INTERPERSONAL/COMMUNICATION/LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to focus on projects that recur on a regular cycle
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
MATHEMATICAL/ANALYTICAL/REASONING SKILLS:
- Advanced math skills
- Excellent problem recognition and resolution skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of quantitative investment information and market/economic data
OTHER:
- Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping or shifting deadlines

TECHNICAL:
- Advanced understanding of Excel and use of formulas
- Familiarity with automation systems used in the financial services industry
- Basic understanding of computer programming
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- No licensing is required for this position, though Series 7 a plus

- Professional, fast-paced office environment
TRAVEL:
- Minimal travel required for this position; 5-10%
