Job Purpose and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for updating various quarterly and monthly performance publications for various products (Mutual Funds, SMAs, ETFs, etc)
- Responsible for working with vendor applications to update qualitative and quantitative content Fact Cards, Pitchbooks, Commentaries and other performance publication templates monthly
- Manage and fulfill requests from the Sales department for marketing materials
- Update and improve upon monthly and quarterly deliverables
- Partner with IT, and operations and other data providers to lead tech initiatives and resolve data issues
- Work closely with Web Team and Compliance to post marketing material to the Legg Mason website, proofing to ensure accuracy and completion.
- Participate and/or manage various marketing projects/initiatives
- Work with technology on ad hoc data projects
- Be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Ability to perform under in a time-sensitive, high-pressure work environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent and minimum 4-5 years of Product and or Product Marketing or related experience.
- Understanding of the Asset Management business with a strong desire to expand knowledge base (SMA knowledge a plus)
- Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines and be detail oriented
- Project management ability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
- Able to adjust to changes in workflow and direction
- High attention to detail
- Proofreading ability
- Self-starter
- Team-oriented attitude
- Full understanding of MS Office product suite (with a focus on PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and Adobe products
