ETF Product Specialist

Job Purpose:

• The AAM ETF team is expanding and looking for a Exchange Traded Funds ETF Product Specialist to join the team
• This position requires extensive knowledge of the ETF Market, ETF structure and ETF capital markets
• The primary goal of this function is to raise assets of the AAM ETF product suite by working with existing AAM sales professionals
• ETF professionals with sales, capital markets and/or product development backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Your Responsibilities:

• Educate and train other AAM distribution areas to facilitate ETF knowledge and AAM ETF awareness
• Travel with AAM sales professional and act as a product specialist on behalf of AAM ETFs
• Help develop product positioning; help to lead development of ETF marketing collateral, campaigns, and thought leadership
• Represent AAM ETFs at industry events
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with broker/dealers, AP’s/market makers and research analyst community
• Extensive travel

Skills and Qualifications:

• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required; CFA strongly preferred
• Required Certifications: FINRA Series 7 & 63
• 5+ years ETF related experience within either a sales, product, or trading capacity; capital markets experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of the financial markets, with ETF industry and passive investing knowledge preferred
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Self-driven with ability to build and manage key internal and external relationships
• Strong investment acumen and background
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
