- Client Acquisition and Opportunity Nurturing:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with asset managers, financial advisors, institutions, and other potential clients.
- Nurture and progress high quality prospects through the sales cycle.
- Curate custom content for large opportunities focused on specific topics such as ETF Creation/Redemptions, ETF product evaluation, and ETF distribution and marketing strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ETFs, effectively communicating the benefits of Tidal’s platform and solutions.
- Strategically evolving approach to winning business based on pain points & potential solutions.
- Communicate detailed ETF nuances effectively to less knowledgeable prospects, creatively adapting to pinpoint specific benefits of an ETF suite to a prospective client’s existing business.
- Strategic Business Development and Leadership:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales goals and grow the ETF platform.
- Identify market trends, client needs, and competitive opportunities to drive innovative solutions.
- Leverage junior team members to drive efficiently.
- Aspiration to lead efforts beyond day-to-day to continuously improve our solutions and win more business.
- Thought Leadership and Representation:
- Represent Tidal Financial Group at industry events, conferences, and webinars to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Contribute to thought leadership content on ETF trends and opportunities.
- Staying current on recent fund filings, ETF innovation, and industry trends and demonstrating mastery level understanding of the continuously evolving ETF landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ETF Capital Markets/Trading or Portfolio Implementation, 40’Act Asset Management, or ETF Market Making.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of ETF ecosystem and limitations, regulatory landscape, benefits of ETFs over other financial instruments and macro market dynamics.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of ETF tax efficiency, 351 conversions, and ETF competitive landscape.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies with a small team.
- Demonstrated results of effectively achieving deliverables through team and resource management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organization skills to manage fast growing pipeline and evaluate and target best ROI opportunities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and pitch specific solutions suited to various types and styles of Opportunities.
