.Why this role is important to us

Global Strategy, Infrastructure and Strategic Partners is the business unit within the SPDR Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) business responsible for the overall business strategy, product oversight and business controls, and strategic partnership relationship management. The Team works closely with the Global Head of the State Street SPDR ETF business, the Heads of EMEA, APAC and North America distribution as well as each of the global functions (Marketing, Product, Infrastructure, Capital Markets), our regional distribution teams in the US, EMEA, and APAC and the enabling functions (Finance, HR).

This role will be located in our London office and will serve as an analyst focusing on supporting sales strategy for the EMEA region.

You will work closely with the Global Head of Sales Strategy & Planning, the Head of EMEA Distribution and the distribution organization in order to drive all strategic planning and strategic initiatives.

What you will be responsible for

As a EMEA Sales Strategy Analyst your responsibilities may include:

  • Work closely with distribution leadership to support annual business planning process including the development of country and region level priorities and sales targets; provide ongoing monitoring throughout year on progress
  • Drive the creation of business cases to support the vetting and onboarding of distribution partnership opportunities as a member of the Global Distribution Partnership COE; coordinate across sales, legal, marketing, compliance
  • Monitor all EMEA Distribution Partnerships to ensure progress to goal making recommendations for action where needed
  • Own the development, maintenance, and tracking of client tiering across countries and EMEA region
  • Develop, in partnership with distribution leadership, sales scorecards in order to measure the effectiveness of sales professional’s performance relative to priorities and financial targets
  • Consult with distribution organization in the development of new reports in order to support the sales process and identify opportunities; gather user requirements and work with Global Business Intelligence team to bring report to life
  • Provide the distribution leadership team with ad hoc initiative support

What we value

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience in the asset management industry or related Financial Services experience (3-10 years)
  • Operated in business analyst role or equivalent at a large scale asset management organization or at a Top-Tier Strategy or Financial Services Consulting firm
  • Proven experience developing & using relationships across multiple partners
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • BA/ BS or equivalent degree, preferably with a financial or business discipline
  • Strong quantitative and evaluative skills in financial planning, financial modelling and business decision support narrative formation
  • Sufficient gravitas and confidence to engage senior partners with credibility
  • Ability to take ownership and initiative, to influence and build consensus
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Desire to develop an understanding of the global ETF landscape and the SPDR ETF business
